Crucial training for those  transporting essential wheelchair users in Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAVs). Particularly useful to those working within the taxi or community transport sectors or delievring SEND transport.

Training includes  legislation & disability awareness, identification of  wheelchairs & transportation suitability. Safe manual handling & wheelchair loading to/from a WAV.
Wheelchair Tiedown and Occupant Restraint Systems (WTORS ) practical training & assessment

NOTE: This training is mandatory for SEND transport providers in many Local Authority areas and fulfils many LA compliance needs.

A consideration for anyone working in the care sector or in a security role is de-escalation training.

Training includes: understanding conflict management, practical self-defence techniques, steps to take when encountering an aggressive or violent patient/client, incident reporting and legislation surrounding use of de-escalation techniques
